Winder Building Certification
The Winder Building was imported from South Africa and required structural certification to ensure the structure complied with Australian Standards. The structural checks and certification included allowance for the 35T overhead gantry crane. As part of the overall crane certification submission to DMIRS (Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety), BWCE prepared a set of structural calculations.
In additional to the structural design and certification, BWCE also carried out site inspections of the building at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with the design.
